The Post Office Reminds Holidaymakers of the Importance of Travel Insurance as Holiday Bookings Rise

New research shows increased confidence in overseas travel as recession ends.

London, UK ( PRWeb UK / PRWEB ) April 30, 2010 -- Research from the Association of Independent Tour Operators and Wanderlust magazine has revealed that holiday bookings are on the rise. In light of this, Post Office Travel Insurance warns those planning to take a holiday to research travel insurance options before they travel. Post Office Travel Insurance encourages all travellers to ensure they have relevant travel insurance cover in place before heading off on holiday.

According to the study , 67 per cent of specialist operators are experiencing an increase in bookings on last year, with a further 15 per cent reporting similar levels over the same period. The study reveals that 90 per cent of specialist tour operators are more positive about the state of holiday bookings, reflecting the rise in consumer confidence and interest in more varied types of holiday break.
