That cost is just a government projection, so you can assume it will be considerably greater. Quite a sum to solve a problem that doesn’t exist. Doesn’t exist because the vast majority of Americans are satisfied with their health care/insurance. People are not dying in the streets because they are denied health care. We do not have to wait months for procedures to relieve suffering ailments or to get tests that may save our lives. Funny, those things do seem to happen in places where government runs health care, like the U.K. or Canada. Oh, but you say, this “reform” will insure all those 47 million people in this country who are currently uninsured. Well, not really. Even by the Administration’s own admission it will probably only insure one-third of these.
